I love banana bread. I love homemade banana bread. I love my homemade banana bread. There's just something amazing about turning a brown ripe banana, which has just about lost its appeal, into a delicious loaf of goodness. Good for breakfast (warmed with a spread of butter, yum!), good as a snack, good as dessert (warmed with a scoop of melting chocolate ice cream? yes, please!). It's so good!
Not only do I love to bake banana bread and love to eat banana bread, but I love to share my banana bread. If I've shared my banana bread with you, I hope you know that it was baked and shared with love.
Banana bread reminds me of my office in Baltimore, the first people I shared my bread with. Their rave reviews made me think I could possibly be on to something. Because of them, and they know who they are, I've continued to bake banana bread every chance I get.

My recipe isn't exactly a secret, especially since I originally found it online myself. I'd share it here, but somehow it seems more special if I hold it close. Leave a comment if you'd like me to forward it along. Just remember, the main ingredient can't be bought in any store. It's all about the love.
I spent hours and hours today cleaning and reorganizing the kitchen. When I was sorting the baking pans and sheets, I came upon a loaf pan and I thought of you and your banana bread!! I was thinking about how I would love to try to make it and that I should email you and ask you for the recipe. And then - there was something on Facebook dinging at me this afternoon and it was a post about your banana bread! The world is always unfolding just as it should. Please please send me the recipe! And I love your blog. Just as much as I love you, which is lots!!
